Appliances used in the U.S. is set for 110 Volts, 60 cycles. Most  overseas countries use 220 Volts, 50 cycles. Some U.S. appliances can be used overseas with a  transformer and some only need concverters. These alternatives can not be used for all appliances. Because of the differences in cycles, some of the appliances will  malfuntion, won't operate at full capacity or the life span will be reduced. An example of this is an electronic clock for 110 Volts, 50hz.  It will run 10 minutes slower at 220 Volts, 50hz even if it is already run through a transformer.   Anything that has a timer will run slower. Another example are TVs.  In the U.S.,   besides using 110V,60 Hz versus 220v,50hz, the color system is also different.  The U.S. uses NTSC3.58, most Asian  and Europian Countries use Pal system,  middle eastern countries use Secam.

We  offer high quality  220V/50 Hz
appliances at reasonable prices.
